Traditional Arts of New Mexico

Morning Star Gallery is excited to announce our annual summer exhibition and sale for 2012.

"Traditional Arts of New Mexico" will showcase material from Native American groups as well as traditional folk art from local Spanish communities. The show will include a stunning variety of Pueblo pottery both, old and new; Apache beadwork and basketry; Navajo textiles; and Spanish-New Mexican Santos, furniture and tin work. It is the synthesis of these diverse aesthetics that come together to form what we now recognize as the New Mexican style.
