This impressive collection was assembled over a 30-year period and features a wide array of Plains material. Each object was considered carefully for quality, authenticity, and artistic merit.
Representing Nations from the Northern Plains, Central Plains, Southern Plains, and the Plateau, this show contains exceptional examples of beadwork, quillwork, sculpture, and parfleche.
Highlights from this important collection include: a fully beaded Southern Plains model cradle, a Northern Plains War shirt, a Central Plains bow case & quiver, a Central Plains courting flute, and a Northern Plains parfleche envelope.
